Default ATR Belmont Day Special! Noon-3pm (Ch. 127)

Very pleased to confirm an "At the Races at the Belmont Stakes" Special for 12noon-3pm, Saturday, June 7th on Sirius 123 (and possibly 126 as well).

Hope to put together a very special lineup on what should be a great afternoon...

Happy to welcome ideas for what you would like to hear during the lead up to the network TV broadcast..

Excellent! This'll be light years beyond the usual big race day coverage on Sirius.

By the way, I saw a Sirius ad on tv the other day and they didn't mention ATR as a selling point. The nerve! There's a whole contingent out here who wouldn't even subscribe to Sirius but for the "most listened to racing program in the world."

I think myself and justindew discussing the economy qualifies as "very special". I'll fly in if ya want.

New GDP numbers out today. Up .9%, even with the housing and gas issues.

Yet many Americans THINK we are in a recession. The media reporting that is like the media reporting that residents of New York think the temperature was 75 degress, even though it was 65.

If the GDP is going up, we aren't in a recession. That's not even Economics 101. It's Economics 095.

Also, I too will fly in to NY for the special. And I'll give out a Pick 4 that I think the listeners will really enjoy.

I will not destroy Steve's thread with another war with you. Lets agree to disagree.

I'll be at Belmont June 22 if you want to have that discussion. I'll even buy you a beer...by that time a beer will probably only cost about 12 bucks considering the current situation.

Make it Rosecroft Raceway on Steven Foster Day, and you have a deal.

Will be sure to call in, possibly from "beautiful" uptown Fort Plain N.Y. on "E" Street with the posse.

I'm not taking sides in the great debate but I'd like to give this an early nomination for post of the year consideration...

Default A panel

Town Hall meeting with Lauren Stich, Steve Crist, Rick Dutrow, William Rhoden, Gary Stevens, and Governor Paterson. Now this would be entertaining!

Why should they need handouts?

The economy is fine.

I wouldn't say the economy is 'fine', but it could be worse.
