Default Down to Six...
Nashoba's Key's accident means that there are now only six active horses that have won three or more Grade I races - Lava Man, Curlin, Ginger Punch, Einstein, Precious Kitten and Big Brown.

(EDIT: 7 - I missed Kip Deville)

That's a pretty good summary of the problems facing the game right now. You can't sell a sport without stars.

Fix those, and it won't even matter if the horses have names. A billion people will watch the Breeders' Cup, just to see the takeout levels.
