Default twinspiresTV

Looks like they just released a new interactive way of watching the races. You can watch 5 tracks at once, one on a big screen, 4 on smaller screens. Has an OTB feel to it. Looks like the video quality is improved as well.

Sorry if this has been posted already.

it looked good, but on my wireless connection at work the video playback became very choppy during the live race. i'll be curious if its any better on high speed cable. basically i was shocked to see something new.

It is very choppy right now, they are probably just feeling it out before they add more power to it......

Now this is the type of **** they should be competing with, not the tracks they offer

okay i'm at home now and its much better, very good picture and sound. it seems like they released this without a lot of fanfare to test it out and get inital reaction. at the top it says Beta which is why i think its a trial.

i have to say this is about the best new thing i've seen in a long time.

i might have to take back some of the things i said about twinspires.

It's definitely a trial for now. The welcome video says they are looking for feedback to improve it.

On a side note: I subscribe to MLB.tv and the video for that is very close to TV quality, so the technology is available. If online wagering platforms could offer something like that for a small fee (or free), I would be all for it. This would be huge for me as I have no way of getting HRTV or TVG at home.

IT JUST STARTED YESTERDAY!!!

And probably was released later in the day, thus Belmont/Churchill were probably already closed.....

I think the set up is absolutely great, love it....if I ever get flush again I might have to get a new laptop with a serious video card on so those bottom screens work a little better

Anyone out there Know what this is????????

Where the Racing Information Is you see the ML then you have the current Odds then you have the squiggly little red arrow and when Highlighted says "Profit Line Odds" what the heck is that.

Between this (TwinspiresTV) and MLB Mosaic (you can watch up to 6 games at a time) I never have to leave the house.......

http://www.twinspires.com/content/profitline

Q: "What is ProfitLine?"

A: ProfitLine is a new betting tool that projects the top five finishers and estimates the fair odds of each ranked horse.

In a recent study of major and minor tracks covering more than two years of racing, top ranked ProfitLine horses won an amazing 32.7% of all races. ProfitLine rankings have also proven to be excellent predictors of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place finishers.

ProfitLine Odds are based on an exhaustive analysis of numerous handicapping factors. BRIS Speed, BRIS Class, BRIS Pace, form, weight, distance, pedigree, trainer, jockey, recency and many more factors of each horse's past performances are evaluated using some of today's most powerful statistical tools and techniques. The end result is an accurate guage of each horse's probability of winning.
