Default Coco Crisp just charged the mound....

my God, baseball players need to learn how to fight. Haymakers thrown but not connected, rugby scrum ensues....

Sox lose Crisp, Rays lose Shields. Advantage Sox.

They gotta get the Red Sox uncomfortable at the plate. Don't know how you can beat them if you don't. What I can't believe is how comfortable they let the Mets' Jose Reyes get at the plate. That just can't be.

It started with last night's game. Crisp slid headfirst into second and Bartlett blocked the base with his leg. Crisp proclaimed he was going to get someone and that he did. He went out of his way to plow into Aki Iwamora at second base later in the game.

Shields did what any pitcher does when a punk-ass player whines and then tries to hurt someone with a cheap shot....he nailed him.

Noogies on top of the head? Please.

The only thing impressive about that was how old Nolan was at the time. I'll give him an A for toughness.

Must be a full moon tonight.

Now, Manny and Youkalis scuffled in the Sox dugout between the 4th and 5th inning.....while they were up 7-1 (and after they just scored 3).

Now (top of the 6th), Lester throws one BEHIND Aybar and does not get tossed. Both benches & pitchers were warned in the 2nd inning.

Major League pitchers, that haven't walked anybody in the game, don't throw fastballs behind opposing players without intent.
