Default Next years's Travers winner just ran!!

Ocean Colors, a filly, just won her debut at CD in 57 flat.

Rebroke on the lead when collared at the top of the lane and drew off by about three.

She's by Orientate out of Winning Colors.

Oh, and from my crappy video feed, she kinda looks like she has the same color and markings of her dam.

Does she have the head of a princess, the ass of a washer woman, and the strut of a street hooker? I know Dwayne said it a little differently talking about Winning Colors

I have to admit that this is a 2yr old to get excited about. Man wouldnt it be great to see her run like her dam?? I am almost as excited about her as I am all of the Pleasantly Pefect babies running. Btw, he had his first winner last weekend. He has had 2 starters, the first Rapid Redux (umm yeah the name sucks)who ran 2nd his first out, then Quite A Lady won by 3 her first out. Not to bad concidering I didnt think I would be seeing any of his babies run till the fall. Sorry, when talking about PPerfect I tend to ramble, I just the big guy. I can relate to a un-named person who is just as obsessed with a un-named horse named after a body of water over across the pond!!! Dont want to call anyone out, so I didnt want to use any names.

I saw the little bitch in person and she is a mover and a shaker.

Asmussen was running up there to watch her intently.

Seemed like he knew what was coming.

There is a horse named Mediterrain Sea???

In a more related note...I saw Ocean Color's race yesterday at the OTB. SHe looked awfully freaking good moving down the lane. Very impressive.

.

Considering that it was her fourth start i doubt he was surprised. She was 3 for 3 in the Texas trials down at the Asmussen training facility.
