Default This Weekends Finest...

I was impressed with a couple second place finishers....

Dynaforce, was rank the whole trip and was still brave to the wire.. she should improve and be a force later in the year. You could actually argue that this horse was much the best of the layoff, JV could never get her to relax, and instead of quitting she fought to the wire

Ginger Brew...with the breeders cup being on a synthetic track this year, i think the sky is the limit for her. She reminds me a little bit of Nashobas Key

Sailors Cap was super... i did not like the horse at all, and was shocked with how easily he won.

Desert Party... i finally saw the replay and this horse was amazing... never asked for run, going a distance that you would think is to short for him.

How could you not have liked Sailors Cap AT ALL? Especially after the rain came.

court vision
nistles crunch
Julians horse...bomb something like 18-1
adriano

no sailors cap

i would have used him, if it were wet at the time, but it was not, it was fast and firm

Maybe if you listened to some people in here you wouldnt bust out. Sailors Cap has been talked abotu, not using him, and in most cases singling him you dont deserve to cash tickets

Half of the horses you named don't belong in the "weekend's finest" category. . .

dynaforce was not best. . . ginger brew beat a bunch of slow maidens and had no excuse.

Dynaforce, was rank the whole trip and was still brave to the wire.. she should improve and be a force later in the year. You could actually argue that this horse was much the best of the layoff, JV could never get her to relax, and instead of quitting she fought to the wire

She ran 2nd - but we'll give her the benefit of the doubt because she was rank? That's logical. . . And last I checked Mott's 28% with horses coming off breaks of 180+ days.

so you mean to tell me, her being rank the whole trip did not cost her what she lost by ? i think it did

Certainly not one of "The Weekend's Finest" as this thread is titled.

I don't even think she was rank. . . and I think she had a tactical advantage over the winner who displayed a very impressive turn-of-foot. She might end up being a player in her division this year - but she's not worthy of her own thread or the title "weekend's finest". . .
