Default The Companions

Seabiscuit had Pumpkin, Silent Witness had Highlilli (who accidentally beat him once in a barrier trial ), and - to a lesser extent - Vengeance of Rain had Syllabus (who was sent into quarantine with him, although he had a different owner, so that VOR wouldn't get depressed).

Other famous companions?

As i recall they sent a companion with Curlin over to Dubai. they did some story on him, forgot his name, but they did so because they knew that if they didn't he would likely become agitated.

edit: just looked it up. it was Pancho, a white stable pony that Curlin liked.

We had a stallion that loved his companion, a rooster named "Chick Chick". He rode in the trailer with the horse and stayed in his stall. They shared a feed bucket too. The stud would take a bite and and move his head so the rooster could get a bite. It was very cute.
