Default Kershaw

Martin gave him a couple runs to start the game. Lets see if he can get that elusive 1st win. Houston has been hot though.

Getting support...4 run lead...Gunna be his to lose. Kent mentors the 2 star white youngins(Billingsley and Kershaw.) Honeycutt went to the mound with Kent and Martin. Kent gave the kid about a 30 second lecture.

That goes to the top of the list(a very short list) of clutch hits he has as a Dodger. He seemed particularly interested in the game (due to family n' friends in the crowd.) It shouldn't have been a close game, but Torre made retarded pitching changes that blew up in his face each time. The kid was still pitching fine. He had 2 on with 1 out. They have a meeting on the mound. Kent does all the talking. Yes, it was bizarre. Just like a cop chastizing a jaywalker that made a car have to slow a touch bit. Then the kid gets a slow roller back to him, and takes the conservative route to 1st base(now 2 outs.) So 6th inning, and 2 outs. Astros on 2nd and 3rd base. Score is 6-1 Dodgers. Here comes Torre to the mound...Shuffle,Shuffle...Shuffle,Shuffle...Finall-eeeeeee he gets there. Out goes Kershaw. In comes some scab. Out goes the ball into the right field seats. Later he puts in BROXTON(IN PLACE OF THE MUCH GAMER HARD-THROWING KUO.) There goes the lead. Miracle that the Dodgers won it. They usually lay down like a hurry-up ho (in this situation.) Kid still doesn't have a win.

When I first read the post I just figured it was Joe doing a Torresque move to let Kershaw get the standing O from the crowd on the way to his first major leauge win (because he wasn't going out there for the 7th anyway). Saw him do it all the time in NY. Then I realized that they played in Houston last night. Now I just figure that they are just being extra cautious him. Reguardless if he took him out early or not, major leauge bullbens shouldn't be blowing 5 run leads!

Well, for one thing it's not a big-league-style park. It's some weird Hee Haw place with a "eat more fowl" sign for a foul pole. The short porch in left was partial reason for the tie'n 2 runs to be scored. The fact that Delwyn Young is so short was another problem. He should of caught a flyball that hit the scoreboard in left. He needed to be 3 or 4 inches taller, or just get his head out of his a-ss. Be nice if Broxton wasn't a p-u-s-s major, too. I still don't know who it was that gave up the 3 run homer. Don't you think it should have been someone important that he brought in?....It wasn't.

"Dodgers June 26: Placed pitcher Scott Proctor on the 15-day disabled list; purchased the contract of pitcher Brian Falkenborg from Las Vegas of the Pacific Coast League (AAA)."

This is the individual Torre took the kid out for. Ball gone bye bye.....Kershaw statistically responsible for 2/3 of the three run homer. Falkengirl's e.r.a. is still a low 2.70.....Stats are stupid like that...Kershaw has pitched great. Sad he doesn't get a chance with a decent team.

Falkenborg gave up the HR, him Kuo and Broxton combined to give up 3 runs in 2 1/3 innings pitched (not counting what was charged to Kershaw after he left). Who should have he brought in? It sound like everyone outside Saito sucks.

Hey at least you have this guy.

Joe Beimel now has made 10 consecutive appearances without being charged with a run, a span of 8 1/3 innings, and has allowed runs in just three of his 37 appearances this season. Too bad it was 1st appearance in 8 days.

Kershaw just got a guy to hit a feeble comebacker to the mound. I mean the kid was still pitching well, and deserved to get the 3rd out in the 6th. Then, he should of brought in Chan Ho in the 7th. Wouldn't surprise me if Chan Ho cruised in the 7th n' 8th. Let me tell you one secret that the Dodger dumb****er coaching staff has never realized in 3 years of close examination. This individual named Broxton is a gripper severe. He should only be brought in with the bases clear. Tell this idiot severe to throw it as hard as he can. As soon as he allows somebody to get on base, then take the ball away. That's it. It isn't complicated. He is a power pitcher who happens to be a woman.

You would think that Joe would know how to handle that by now after dealing with Farnsworth for the last couple of years.

Kuo looked great last night. I couldn't believe he took him out. Throwing darts. The guy didn't get a few corner calls from the picky bitch behind the plate. Wouldn't surprise me if Kuo is juicing. Has to be the thickest-bodied Chinese dude ever. One strong lil dude, and he think he superman. 1 WALK, AND GONE (FOR MISS BROXTON.) I don't know why people want to bring Broxton in when there are people on base. That's when he should be walking off the field(not on the field.) See, the problem is that Broxton has a great fastball, and they want to go down with their best pitcher. He is a world record holder for the 5 furlong distance. He can go in sub 44, but only if he is alone up front. They think he can take heat up front. Uh, no, but they keep trying that s-h-i-t though.
