horse abuse in northeast TN

i am not sure if anyone is interested in this or not, but last year there was a horse abuse case in northeast TN where 20 horses were found starving. they were moved down to Horse Haven in Knoxville. the judge in the case has recently turned them over to Horse Haven and they are ready to be adopted. you just need to go to the Horse Haven website if interested.

the owner pled guilty and was sentenced to 90 days in jail.
7 years no animal or livestock ownership or contact.
and she has to pay court cost.

I am glad there was at least 3 months of prison time. All the groups involved are to be commended.
