Default The July Cup

Such a nice field.

Good luck to my sentimental boy, Benbaun , to the winner (War Artist ), and to the hard-trying Les Arcs who could very well be last (but who won it in '06, beating Iffraaj home).

Gotta love it.

Come home safe, ALL of you.

Thought I'd read he was your pick (MDO) somewhere... congrats if you had him.

Poor Benny.

It was a great race to watch. Couldn't believe how much ground the winner made up in the final furlong, I had almost given up hope as they flashed passed me in the grandstands.

Luckily, The race was run in beautiful sunshine but the same cannot be said about the following 2yo fillies race, which was run in dreadful conditions. Jockeys said they couldn't see much more than five feet in front of them. More to the point, I got soaked!!!
