head butt

i got head butted yesterday...i was up observing the mare whose foal i am a partner in. man is she well muscled, well groomed, mild mannered, alert, and very big. at least 16 hands. we mated her to a 16.3 stallion...

so i was walkin around the paddock with the owners wife and she was showing me a few more mares in the paddock. all the while this goat was following me around...he was a friendly sort i thought. and then when i wasn't paying attention he gave me a shot right in the groin...i looked down and i swear i could sense him laughing and the broodmares chuckling after he inducted the rookie, hahahar...i glad they cut his horns, FO SHO...

Hope you liked Lizoranet. Was this the first time you saw her?
The one she's mated to (DW) should give you a good one.

Dang, I hate goats! Only good ones are very young, and bar-b-qued on a spit over hot coals.

LOL, it was nothing but a good bump and when i looked down, face to face with the goat, it was funny to see him looking up at me.

first time i saw Liz and i'll stop again to check in. she lost her bridle in the field "horsing around." so you couldn't really handle her but from all i saw i was very impressed. her size floored me i'd say. i think physically she's an admirable match for the dad. hope all goes well for her and yours too.
