Default Does This Change Your View of the NBA Ref Scandal

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,381842,00.html

Is there really any doubt that the NBA has a huge credibility problem with the management of it's officials and how they have influenced outcomes of games.

We may have seen the uncovering of Pandora's Box today if names continue to be publicly released as Scott Foster was today. The game is indeed in big big trouble.....anyone for an independent counsel to discover and scrutinize the true facts in this one yet?

I have a bad feeling this will result in David Stern being forced out and he'll retaliate by killing everything in his path.

I didn't read it as I already know what it said.

I hate to be obnoxious--you all know this---but I always told fools to lay off the betting on any pro sport....they cheat.

So does college...just not as much.

Stern is a baboon.

I'll be damned if I lay off the football bets. It's far less crooked than horse racing.

if there was anything to this donaghy would have rolled to reduce his sentence.

the fbi knew about the phone records before fox news did. maybe they're in on the conspiracy.

I SAID...the betting fools.

I did not mean to include smart betters who know how to cheat against the cheats.

Stern seems to be the only one who doesn't know what's going on.

He spends all his time preparing to congratulate the draft picks.

Just a guess on my part but Stern seems to be going for that 25th year as commish. Then he'll retire and they'll bring in a Goodell type who hates young black guys.

But up until today Stern has most of the media drinking the kool-aid that there
is only one bad man involved in this dirty little problem. Where are the feds with info like this floating around?

unless another shoe drops from the feds your choices will be limited to the simple idea that a bad employee can get away with a lot or visiting the tinfoil haberdashery.

if the fox story has legs, you'll know in a few days and we'll all be left to wonder about the incompetence of donaghy's defense team in studiously avoiding this obvious way to get his sentence reduced.

The NY Times has a story today that's kinda interesting to say the least

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/15/sp...ref=basketball

Maybe this IS a last ditch effort to avoid sentencing!!

I suspect there will be clamoring for a rebate from Cable and TV channels for airing a "questionable" product!
