Default 3rd at Toga

I have $50 to win on the 8-Forecourt here. I like it's form in England, and looks like it might have had a problem and been laid up for a while.

I am banking that McLaughlin has this thing ready off of the layoff, and I don't really mind the Fasilyev-out of a Forty Niner mare or the bullet work.

To me, it seems Defer doesn't want to win too bad and will take that NY money, and the 7 is the only other one who made sense. I have put Crossword in second in exactas, all with my 8 on top.

I suck today BIG TIME! Oh well. It is just for fun. So don't feel bad mood. I haven't hit anything today!

Except he's not playing for fun, if you note his post and wager.

For sure Buffy...
At least we didn't put out chalk...nor do the dreaded "red board".
I wish others would join us for the remainder of the card.

Just something fun to do while at work DTS. Won't play tomorrow since I am off of work and will be at the barn giving Buck a bath.

Sorry Mood. Forgot that you had actual money on the race. Sorry about that dude. Sorry that you lost I mean.

That has to be the first time Defer'swon a race in about two years, right? Man, was I disappointed in him last year. He's still on my watch list though!

Buffy,
Actually, capping a card and not placing bets is a great way to learn.
Then when you do it for "real", you have confidence if you've been successful hypothetically.

Have fun on your mini-vacation.

As also have I...
Now, I'm sure this has been previously discussed, but does anyone think there should be wagers allowed for last place, next to last, and reverse tri?
It would make for interesting bets from pessimistic bettors...and give them a shot if they're having a bad day on the front end.
