Default Halsey Minor on Wed. 4:30

Steve.

You've undoubtedly heard the recent buzz about technology entrepreneur Halsey Minor's interest in purchasing and restoring Hialeah Park. There have been quite a few stories about him on Equidaily, including another one today. Mr. Minor seems eager to talk to the press about his disgust with the way the industry is being run and about his plans for Hialeah, should he acquire it. I don't know if it's possible for you to line him up as a guest on At the Races, but I think he would be a great interview.

Thanks, SMH

Slewz,

Halsey Minor live from Miami Wednesday at 4:30... Minutes after a meeting with John Brunetti.

Wow Steve. That is unbelievable! I really appreciate you getting him on the show. I'm usually not able to listen live, but I will be listening with interest.

Thanks so much...SMH

Wow, we need a couple dozen of people like him. Sounds very optimistic and like the way he talks.

Great guest.

Steve.

Great interview. I really enjoyed hearing what Halsey Minor had to say. If he can pull this off, it would be huge for the sport. I love his enthusiasm, and ideas, especially the no slots stance. And with Gulfstream having been turned into a racing fan unfriendly facility, a restored, fan friendly Hialeah may be able to push Magna out of the prime racing dates. If he can get a deal done with John Brunetti, it sounds like the flamingos may fly once again in front of enthusiastic fans at Hialeah.

It was a great interview. I really hope he can pull it off. I personally want to make the pilgrimage someday to a fully restored Hialeah. I never had the chance to experience it and I am psyched to see it.

Default Positive meeting at Hialeah....

There's reason to hope!
