Don't know if he can do it(like Hennig and his horse)... but would be very fitting to see Prado win it, with him going into the Hall of Fame. Hope it happens! Getting a win and going into the hall couldn't happen to a better guy (no offense to anyone else in the race, as they're good people too).

I'm going with a cold Big Brown to Coal Play exacta in the Haskell. I expect Coal Play to pull a Herat from 23 years ago and try to wire the field at a big price, with Big Brown running him down late.

I like Deal Making to win. I watched the replay over and over again hoping the result would change Dominguez would have given him a real chance to run. But no. The best horse in the race never got a chance to show it until it was too late and I doubt my win ticket is worth anything.

For 2nd, I am using Field Sport and Wilsboro Point.

Thank you. It was a lot to ask in his third start, but losing by a length and a half was very encouraging. We ended up in Saratoga since the 75K stake at Delaware was washed off the turf on Saturday. Leparoux told me he was pushed out wide by the winner at the top of the stretch then bumped off stride in the last few jumps. All in all, an encouraging effort!

If they ran that race 10 times you may have 10 totally different results based on trips

Absolutely correct! I had every horse in the race predicted to run "sheet" figures within one point of each other. As a lot of turf races go, it definitely became a trip race and we got the widest!

Thank you and let's hope so. We would love to get some recognition for his namesake, retired trainer Jimmy Picou. Jimmy retired four years ago without much notice after a solid career as a horseman and true gentleman. Barclay Tagg told Jimmy this morning he should be in the Hall of Fame for putting up with Fred Hooper as an owner for all the years that he did.

Boy, did he love Belmont Park and those wide sweeping turns. Paid over $60 when he won the Manhattan.
