What happened to Pure Clan?

She was being pointed towards the Oaks.

I read that the trainer thought the horse needed a couple more weeks -- will instead run in Grade 1 Garden City at Belmont in early September.

Doing okay, but there are at a least a couple people ahead of me that have used less picks. I got a few goose eggs the first week and Einstein's stumble at the break in the Arlington Million did not help. Also, some of my horses decided to take 60-day layoffs (Dancing Forever, Go Between).

I think the contest will be won based on making a successful stable transition from dirt horses to artificial track and European turf horses before the Breeders Cup.

I wish there were more fantasy contests out there since I really enjoy them. I miss the on-line fantasy contest that the NYRA used to have on their website.

Yeah, same here. I picked up a few horses that had plans mapped out for them and they all went on the shelf for no readily apparent reason.

I like Misty Ocean in the Delmar Oaks, of the stakes races today she looks like one of the better bets to land on.

I missed the race today and just now looked at results.

Jesus! How did she look?

Cheers to anyone if they had her.

Good luck to Lightmyfirebaby (I know, I know... I just like her though) tomorrow.

Don't know where she pulled that performance out of the hat? I should have expanded my opinions yesterday but I truly thought the favorites were vulnerable in particular Satan's Circus. She had a perfect trip via the same Arlington Million winning Jockey in her previous race but just sort was one paced in the stretch. Going from 14/1 to 6/5 in that span was certainly not attractive. Storm Mesa's trip in her last wasn't as bad as made out and actually helped her I thought, great score for anyone who took a chance on Magical Fantasy. 42/1 was certainly an overlay. The only thing I can grasp on is perhaps she liked the Delmar turf course as it is different to Hollywood Park.

Misty Ocean looks like she wants to run too fast in the early part of her races, will place her on my watch when she cuts back to a sprint. Tab this one for later.
