Default Credit Where It Is Due......Saratoga Gate Crew

I don't believe there has been a single incident at the gate all summer after a horrendous year in 2007. I know there were heads that rolled last summer but it amazes me what a difference a change at the top made.

No excessive stays while others loaded, nobody holding on to a horse in an opening gate creating nonstarters, and very few if any break through scratches that can ruin a good race. Hopefully this doesn't jinx the rest of the meet but a job well done after a 2007 meet that was so bad it boarded on comical.
