Stolis Winner Takes the 50th All American Futurity
G.R. Carter saddled the favorite in today's All American Futurity, and went on to show why both are the best, as Stolis Winner increased his lifetime earnings to $1,789,467 in winning Quarter Horse Racing's biggest race. Stolis Winner Stolis went 440 yards in :21.178 to win a great stretch duel with the previously-unbeaten Jet Black Patriot, who was trying to become the first Louisian-bred winner of the legendary race.
Congrats to the connections of Stolis Winner, and to reigning AQHA Champion G.R. Carter... |

I made a pretty good bet on the second place horse....It pretty hard to beat Heath Taylor...oh well.

Heath Taylor is "King" in the quarter horse world.. Kinda like Pletcher is with thoroughbreds(most of the time..).. Heck, any "Stoli" horse is a bet to win in my book..Sorry I missed the race.. dang it.. I try to keep up with the 1/3's, bit hard enough sometimes just with the thoroughbreds

That was a very nice win for Stoli's Winner, but I was hoping the 2nd horse would win. JBP is owned by some folks who live not far from where I lived outside of Baton Rouge. He looked like an attractive horse, as well.
I wanted Heartswideopen to win the AA Derby, but she came up short. What a running machine she is. |
