Default 2009 KY Derby Tickets - new process

Was looking last night to sign up for 2009 Derby tickets, and they are changing things. They have gone to the lottery format, and it is based on Twin Spires points. Three lotteries. Anyone that has gotten 30k in points within Jan 08 to Nov 08 gets first run at 60% of the available tickets

You can only get FOUR now instead of six and you also HAVE to purchase seats for BOTH days now, unlike last year where you could get just Derby tickets and not Oaks tickets.

Did you have tickets last year through the two-year PSL package?

tickets shmickets..... come to the infield w/ me and Thunder Gulch. We always get there early and get a spot right on the backstretch fence.

I was thinking about getting tickets a couple of years ago, then i came to my senses, the infield is too good a thing to pass up...... even if you're from Illi

Default Masters

Looking to get Masters practice round tickets, scalp them, and pay for trip to Derby or Saratoga.

Anyone want to pay a small fortune for Master's practice round tickets?

No, I had tickets through Churchill. I went to their site and signed up for tickets and I got a mailing saying these were my tickets and we want $700.

I called a couple months ago and was told if you participated in the PSL program, you'll receive an invoice in November to be paid in full post haste.

nope, wish i was though, i would have done a backflip into a mud puddle had i got proud spell @ 4-1 like some others i know.

I usually use that day (friday) to travel, from huntington, wv to l'ville. Haven't gone to oaks since 2000. Learned my lesson to save it all up for Derby Day
