everyone is panicking because the hurricane is headed to houston, and some refineries are shutting down. someone started a rumor that gas is going to hike a buck and a half a gallon. the sky is falling, the sky is falling.

If those refineries can't withstand 105mph winds at best then we really need to just give up and let the terrorists win. If we're that god damn stupid to build something that weak...

They can.
But the people working in and around them cannot.

They'll be back at full capacity in 10 days easy.

We do have reserves for disasters like this. We're getting robbed.

Illinois loves it when we get gouged. They get a percentage. Have no interest at all in seeing low prices or justice.

maybe this will stop the boom cars from just driving around all night. Haven't heard one all day. That's worth $6 a gallon gas to me

Prices in my area went up .35 cents overnight, I was really ticked off until I read what some others have seen. It is price-gouging, and it is criminal!

Here's a site that may help:

luckily, i was at 3/4 tank in my personal car. company car-well, they pay for it!

i've got some wind blowing here, but i think the storm went further northwest then originally thought, i think we'll be ok here. wish everyone could say the same.
