![]() Interesting to see this, and in one sense, it's good to see CT be able to do it.
And yet, for a track that has always had a terrible racing surface, especially in the winter, and considering how protective the locals are with their purse money, I'm kind of surprised to see the money being spent this way. Then throw in the fact that their condition book was an absolute mess earlier this year and I'm amazed this even got done. I think it's funny how when we used to have a horse that couldn't get it done at Laurel or Pimlico, we'd ship to CT to win a race easily. But not anymore..... |
