Well most of those guys (and girl) are pretty small anyway. I don't think it'd be that hard to get to 126 lbs. Should be no problem for Julie Krone anyway.

I was hanging with Laffit at The Taste of Arcadia event and he is saying he thinks Krone wins it , coming from the master , I think he could be right . He looks awesome , a perfect athlete still , weighs 130 but totally fit not an ounce of fat anywhere. Julie was working some horses for us at Del Mar and I must say she hasnt lost her touch at all , still like melted butter on a horse , may be rusty but she still has it . I gotta say that my favorite jock of all time and not dissing Laffit in anyway , has always been Angel , as a kid I aspired to be like him and I really hope he wins it . Cant wait to see it all unfold Gary has been working horses for us too but he doesnt seem to have that tigers eye but who knows , I just know it will be exciting to them all compete again.

This could be fun, but I'll take this opportunity to once more say I've NEVER forgiven Cordero for his ride on Codex to intentionally take out Genuine Risk in the 1980 Preakness.

Hey, it's only been 28 years. Give me some time to get over it.

I'll also take the opportunity to point out that obvious that Bailey, Krone, McCarron and Stevens are younger and much younger than 54 year old Bill Shoemaker when he won the 1986 Kentucky Derby aboard Ferdinand.

Is there a limit to how overweight they can be? Honestly unless they ride the same horse, it will come down to the best horse not jockey.
