Default Big Day -Any Big Scores? Good Stories?

I love to read about people who cash big any time but especially on big weekends like this. I'll start -

I took a rear end kicking like no other yesterday - no shiziat.

Today - hit a little here and there then BAM, I not only broke even but got a little to the good with my exacta box in The Classic.

I was with a group that was betting pick 3s and pick 4s with our pooled cash. Hit a nice pick 3 yesterday with Maram in it to beef up our stash for today. And blew every bet. We SHOULD have had the Juvieturf/sprint/turf one, but somehow Donativum didn't get on the ticket. Number mistyped? Misunderstanding between the group and the bettor? (We were online with Kev, who was texting to Ken at his OTB.) C'est la guerre.

Over the course of the two days I did pretty well. Today, other than the Juvy and Sprint tri's that we had 5 times over, it was a horrid day of betting. Would have had the Mile super for 2 bucks had Daytona not hit that brick wall entering the stretch and held on for a peice. Couldnt seem to string any multi race bets together, but it was a fun day nonetheless.

No good stories other than me throwing up attempting to smoke a cigar. I tried to blow out the smoke and inhale it up my nose. Didnt work too well, but made for a very, very funny scene. Not bad for a non-smoker though.

I managed to keep my losses to a minimum. Flat bets were the only thing that worked for me.

I feel like I had a big oppurtunity and managed to mess it up totally

I hit the turf sprint with a win bet, blew a couple of bucks on a flyer (surf cat) in the "dirt" mile and decided not to go against my taurus horoscope anymore and walked out of Keeneland with more money than I went in with.

did hang a bit with NC tony who is a good dude and sharp handicapper

I figured 30-1 was enough for me.

We couldnt hit them to save our lives...My brother wanted to unload on Midshipman, but I talked him out of it at that price. This always seems to happen to him. He has this grizzly look out of the corner of his eye that he should patent.

Broke about even....Hit the exacta in the dirt mile and the Pick 3 starting with that race. On Friday was bailed out by Zenyatta hitting the tri and super on that race for a few bucks.

Did not expect to get to go and did not make it out today until the 4th race. Didn't handicap much. Played the 5th through the 9th races. Hit straight bets and exactas in all except the 8th race. No terrific scores, but made a few hundred. I'm happy. Life is good. Glad I didn't have time to handicap much, I probably would have dropped a few hundred!!

Had a very good day.....
Cashed in 7 out of 9 races

Muhannak
covered Desert Code & Storm Treasure underneath
Rebellion (place)
exacta in the Turf Mile....Goldikova is a monster!
Midshipman with the exacta
Dancing Forever (covered across the board)
and for those who liked the "Euros" .....
the exacta box in the Classic.

Best Breeder's Cup day ever for me, thanks to all who helped!

Default The Breeders Cup Classic was a Sham...

It was embassing watching CURLIN lose to a European Bum (Raven's Pass wouldn't win a grade II in this country on the dirt)... The synthetics are AWFUL............!

Caught the 5261.00 pic three in the first 3 races. Was so shocked, I never made another bet other than Richwood Silver at Keeneland.(took them a long way on the lead at 55-1) Best Breeders Cup ever for me by far.

OSA #1 $1 Pick-3 3,4,5,6,9,WT,8,9,13,14,WT,2,7,8,12 $ 80.00 $ 3,946.10 + $ 3866.10

A good friend hit the pic 4 ending with the classic for 2700.00

We were the only two people left in the Herkimer branch by the time the classic rolled around. Seemed like a very quiet day for a Breeders Cup.

I caught a 200 dollar double to ravens pass and a 5 dollar tri in the same race putting him on top of 6 horses and tossing the best horse in the world. Sad really. Up around 30 on the day

I got 5 out of 6 on the pk 6, I singled Soldier of Fortune..blahh. Won the supers on the juvenille and sprint races. Other than that I still lost for the weekend after getting killed on Friday but manageable enough. Can't complain I had a blast today.

How 'come so many people cashed on this terrible crappy fake turf-like surface that gives chaotic, unpredictable results, has ruined the sport, and put up fake champion after fake champion?

Richwood Silver - next time, she got a good race into her and was pretty exciting until the last eight. Had a good fun day at Keeneland's closing day and finally got to meet NC Tony in person. Cashed about $450 on the Classic.

I thought this year's BC overall was a good, exciting one - a good day of horse racing!

Had Minight Like/Conduit/All pick three and was a thrill to watch the Classis knowing I'd win no matter who won. Payoffs were $95 Curlin and as high as $3900 for the outsiders. Caught Ravons Pass for $495.

I hit three pick threes yesterday....(My god, I sould like BBB)

My best BC ever.

Keyed David Hoffman's turf sprinter in pick 3s and 4s. Got lucky to hit both a few times. Best $32 ticket I have ever constructed for a $6000 payoff.
