Default Interesting comments by Christopher Paasch

Hard to believe, in the land of trip obtuseness, that Paasch was aware that Smith moved Foxy Danseur TOO SOON last out. Moreover, he made it a point to INSTRUCT Smith to keep her back further today (going and extra 1/16th) and BETTER TIME her move (per his postrace comments).

In a world of figures (and clueless trainers), where a horse NEVER moves too soon, this is very refreshing.

Well Done. Scripted to perfection.

I'm no fan of Mike Smith but his ride on Foxy Danseur was spot on today, saying that I thought this horse was very logical as the best stalker of the race with the Gomez and Baze horses looking like they would cancel each other out as the speed horses. 9/2 was a slight overlay on Foxy, nice ride, instructions, results...
