Default Hypothetical: Eclipse of The Decade Awards

Now that the Breeders Cup has passed, and awaiting announcements of Eclipse winners for 2008, we are close to 90% complete with this decade. In my on-going quest to learn about this sport, (not just the past few years), I was wondering if you wouldn't mind helping with this brief exercise.

Hypothetically, if you had to select Eclipse Awards for this decade 2000-present, who would your picks be (only one per category) for the following categories. It would also be helpful to me if you put the year next to the names as well. Even if you just answer a few of these if you don't have the time would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Best American Horse of the Decade

Best American Champion Three-Year-Old Male Horse of the Decade

Best American Champion Three-Year-Old Filly of the Decade

Best American Champion Older Male Horse of the Decade

American Champion Older Female Horse Horse of The Decade

Outstanding Owner of the Decade

Outstanding Breeder of the Decade

Outstanding Trainer of the Decade

Outstanding Jockey of the Decade

Invasor couldn't have warmed up Ghostzapper. Smarty Jones would have been in a similar predicament versus Bernardini and Point Given.

I don't expect my entries to be even close to right. I was just trying to start it to the best of my ability so others could truly list what those awards should be. I'd be very interested in knowing about the cream of the crop of this past decade.

You say this stuff like you know, one way or the other, and you just don't. I'm not saying one was dirty, or both, or anything of the kind....and honestly, you shouldn't either.
