I am. Headed out right now, but will be around tonight to discuss. Not that my opinion holds any weight or anything...

8th race looks to be a great betting race

Clement and Tagg both look tough, but I think there are a couple other capable.

Yes it does.

Is Soul Spirit in your capable category? I know it's a race where you could go 4 or 5 wide and still miss out on the winner, but I think a mile might be right up his alley. I will be spreading in this one.

I like 2 races to bet @ GP wed. The 8th and 9th.

Race 8: #6 15-1 morning line #9 10-1 ml

Race 9: #4 20-1 ml #5 12-1 ml

All 4 should be rather big prices.
I'm not usually a trifecta player, but those 2 races I would key both price horses around the other logical contenders.

I like him (I'm a fan of Douglas on the turf) but the post concerns me with them starting right at the turn. Lack of early speed and he could be hung wide for quite a while in the race.

You looking at Stormy Mirage??? He had no chance closing into those fractions last out, but still got up for 4th. WIth a faster pace in front of him, he should be able to get up for a peice. The win? Not sure, but he could be the perfect horse to key around for vertical players. He'll be on my ticket as well.

Positive trainer switch going for him. I like Rouge Victory a little bit

Did you watch his last out? I forget who mentioned it on this board, but it really is worth watching. Shut out isnt the word.

I better come up with a super strong opinion on another race to trim the ticket or I'm screwed.

EDIT::: It was infield line who suggested RV.

Wanted to play the late pick four, but it's brutal. I came up with 4x6x3x4. Unless scratches help me out, I'm going to pass and play something earlier in the card.

A couple of spot plays I like:

Race 4 - #7 Beso Negro (8-1), #8 Sr. Encarnacion (10-1)
Former may have some turf blood, by Concorde's Tune out of a Kissin Kris mare. Latter's only turf race was on par with these and I don't think she'll have trouble stretching out.
Race 7 - #8 Thenputitback (8-1)
Love this angle. The ambitious spot off the debut win, she runs respectably, now they drop her to her proper level. Tactical speed should help her in paceless race.
Race 8 - #4 Rogue Victory (8-1)
No chance last race, and I've got questions about the two favorites. When Weaver gets hot, he stays hot for a while usually.

Damn Joey, you were able to trim the 8th down to 3 potential winners? Braver than I am. Right now, I have it @ 3x3x6x2 or 3, which means I would have to feed more money into the account. I can't find a single for the life of me.

Yeah, I would use Rogue Victory, Radical Sabbatical and Les Antiques, but there are others that look interesting, another reason I'm passing.

Gun to my head single would be Choosing in the sixth, but off a layoff from the 10-hole.. No thanks.
