1/8: Gulfstream (P4); Santa Anita (C/O)
Had all 6 winners somewhere in selections for the Aqueduct Carryover Wednesday, but going 4 of 6 on the $144 play shows why the workable series produced an overlay return of $20,000+. While it wasn't hard to identify likely winners, it was quite a bit more challenging to build a ticket that included them all... My 3rd choice won 4 of the races, while the 2nd choice won the other pair. That wasn't good enough for the sextet, but it was OK for catching nearly a 5-1 return the $240 Late P4 ($54 play after an early scratch in R6). Hope you did well...
Potentially important 3yo ALW's at Gulfstream today (6th/8th), and the P4 is exceedingly tough. $100,000 Santa Anita carryover may be the play... Both below. I'm so I could pull a Plexico right now. Get to the Turfy with about 5 mtp for GP R3. Played my 2 P3's starting in races 5 and 6. Bull$hit with my favorite teller there Jack for a minute, and decide to put in a tri bet, keying Hill's charge with 3 other horses.(none of which hit the board) I make the bet, and a few guys behind me is this guy(Warren Sapp look alike to the tee) that I've engaged in conversations with before about Hills on the grass. He asks me if I want to go halves on a $2 ex 4-all and a $1 all-4 bet ..I tell him no thanks, I like him in this spot and all, but I just spent my extra loot on the tri ticket.(actually had about 8 dollars left and wasnt about to tap the Mac there, leaves a paper trail for my woman, as she works at teh bank that I belong to and checks up on $hit like this..different story for a different day)...
Needless to say, he wins, a bomb fills the exacta, and I slink out the door in disgust. As I'm leaving all I hear is "White Mike, White Mike", as he was trying to flag me down. Just a missed opportunity that I wouldnt even have fretted over had the opportunity not just presented itself to me like it did. Basically hit me in the a$$ with it..uggghh...I already know how the rest of my day is going to end. Better luck to eveyone else playing!

Race 5: #9 Eldoktori
Obviously something's gone wrong with this horse from starting his maiden career as favorite for Zayat/Mott and getting claimed. Still, the hose shows potential and steady works may bring this one into top form to take these. It's a stab, but arn't they all. $5 W/P

Put this one on your watch list. He got clobbered in the stretch to come in 4th and ran a heck of a lot better than 10/1.
