Default Verizon wireless internet

Anyone use it? I'm thinking of upgrading my internet connection, and Verizon wireless or a satellite are my only options. Any info appreciated.

I use Tina's. She has it for her Apple. It's great. Not cheap.

I have it as well- not cheap ($50/mo) but very useful as it really works ANYWHERE. Not as fast as a cable connection but if you're SOL it's definitely a quality option. For perspective, it's fast enough to watch racing online but downloads of decent size files take a while longer than cable.

Switched from cable to Verizon Wireless in September. Always had problems with my with the cable internet, but havn't had a problem with Verizon. It's been great. I had to use their tech support twice for minor problems an they were great too. Now Im waiting for my area to get Verizon Fios.

that's a big plus!

I've noticed it's not unlimited, 5GB/mo. I believe. Is that ever a problem if say you watch a whole s*itload of races?

Use to use it all the time on my lap top when travelling. Worked great. Waiting til they have a special to get it again. A must for anyone who travels for a living.

Verizon offers FIOS here in Northern Viriginia which includes digital phone, high speed wireless internet and HD Cable. We have had the service for nearly 2 years and love it. One of the great features of the FIOS HD Cable, they carry both TVG and HRTV.

I use AT&T wireless. They are awesome no problems or complaints from me at all. I might have to reset the box ever so often but thats about all I have to do. I really cant complain about that.

Coincidentally, got a Verizon Fios flyer on the door today & it will be here soon....pretty happy about that. We had it a few years ago & since we moved, we've had to switch to Cox cable TV, which is not even close. We will be switching over....looking forward to TVG and HRTV again.

i have satellite internet, no complaints at all. unless my kids download a gazillion youtubes, and i get 'fap'ped. daughter moved out, so that never happens!
we had little choice, living in no man's land. either satellite or dial up-and i loathe dial up.

Holy Crap, so this is how the other half lives. I just watched a horse race on my computer and it didn't freeze up.
