Jon Stewart at The Daily Show has been following this. They call the story,

Scumdog Million-hairs

and on his last day LMAO Oprah again!

On his last day in office, Gov. Rod Blagojevich granted clemency today to a former drug dealer who works as a janitor at a homeless shelter that once employed the governor's wife, as well as a real estate mogul who bought Oprah Winfrey's 160-acre Indiana farm in 2005.

The governor ordered that the criminal convictions of both Jimmie Beck, 40, the janitor, and Fred Latsko, 43, who owns a development company, be wiped off public court records.

I didn't catch the name of the senator. I can paraphrase what he said

this is not a sad day this is a great day because we don't have to storm the 2nd floor with guns and bombs to remove him from office...

this is bleeping Golden

does anyone here know who that was. I would like to send him a bleeping letter. 1 down ? to go

I think that was Latsko's father? Unless this guy was in his early 20's. And I want George Ryan (Rep) to rot in jail before any pardon is granted. I think of the poor Willis children being burned alive and find it easy to think that way.

Seems it's the same guy?

Also..I'm not going to dig to find it, but I did read that the Mystery Man who was brokering the construction deals for Blago was Hastert. I guess he has quite the lucrative "consulting" biz going now.

Just checked, it is the guy. Unbelievable! Thompson pardons him for fraud and now he's pardoned for a battery and drug offenses which, I only picked up in a Indiana paper.

Attended a Obama fundraiser hosted by Oprah in Cal this year. Maybe now he becomes Independent and or Green to go for that coveted 3rd pardon he will seemingly need down the road? He was obviously out and I can just hope Oprah and Co. pop up in tapes asking Blago for a favor but I know we won't.
