Also on Sunday, trainer Joe Pennino, a New Orleans native celebrating his 89th birthday, ran the mare Lil Initiative in the sixth race. She finished seventh in a claiming race. Pennino said he has six horses in training and first was licensed in 1941.

There were 10 in the race so she beat three...but the horse wasn't my point anyway...
