Any particular reason he pulled the 6 up in the last 1/16th just enough to let the 90-1 5 horse pass him for third and get his big favorite out of the money? I also thought it was interesting that Ward insisted on getting bullet after bullet out of this horse in between starts. Owned by Joe Pesci.

Just got a chance to watch this race again; though, without a headon. From his reaction it appears as if she's trying to lay on the horse to her inside, and he pulls her off, just before the wire.
