Default Jim Kachulis, DRF Closer Look

Why does this guy insist on telling us what the sire/dam/siblings of VETERAN HORSES did in their careers? I appreciate the information if it's a group of two-year-olds, but when you're telling me about the pedigree of a horse that's started 40 times, you're just killing space.

I agree with ateam's comment, though.
Also, let me clarify that Kachulis doesn't always do this, and it's not just him that does it.

Doesn't Jon White do this ad nauseum on HRTV also? Seems like everytime a horse wins he's extolling the virtues of the 5th dam that's a half to a half of Barbaro, or Sunday Silence, etc.....

Geez Jon, it's a $3500 claimer at EastBF Downs - who cares if the dam is a sister to Barbaro's third cousin.....
