Just had a chance to watch this and thought Chocolate Candy ran a pretty nice race... Was stretched wide all the way; forced into that early move; made sustained three-abreast rally before the half mile marker; held on stoutly down the lane while really not reaching out or appearing fully extended. Came home last 5 in 1:00.4.
Went :25.0, :24.3, :23, :24.4, :13.0. Has the look of a typical Hollendorfer Derby prospect... (In other words, is there a future wager for who finishes 6th?)

is a little bit wide up front, but his stride actually didn't look that terrible from the head-on in the El Camino.
Probably already peaked. He is a decent horse.
