Default AQU 8th 2/19--Be Bullish

Thoughts regarding todays Hollie Hughes. Be Bullish had a curious ride and trip being that he projected as the main speed. Is it a result of a questionable CC ride, which would surprise me being his aggressive style, or is it the fact that the horse might be over the top?

The horse didn't change leads last race. The horse didn't change leads today (and might've gone lefty all around the track). As a Platonist, there's nothing UGLIER than horses on LEFTY lead in the lane.

I didn't look at any more of his races.

Until he learns/is able to change leads in the lane, he probably won't win another race (certainly not against this caliber field).

I'll give Schwartz the benefit of the doubt and assume that he's capable of teaching his horses how to changes leads. Which means, then, that BB is probably sore and might need some time off.

so is the fact he did not hit the front in your opinion a jock decision or a facet ofhis tailing off form? and he did have aim in the strtech despite the curious trip so wrong lead theory does hold water as he seemed to be on wrong lead through the lane.

He's had 20 races and he just turned 4 . He needs a break . His style is rating just off the lead. But 4 horses abreast were gunning for the lead here and he ended up last and going way wide in the turn . No chance to win this race like that.

the nybreds article on this surprising race. http://www.nybreds.com/
