Yankee Thunder Yesterday
First time out this horse runs a 85 Beyer going 6 on Turf. So, is entered for a 1 mile race on Turf next time out, see yesterday, and runs fifth. Should I not have singled this horse? Sure seamed like a logical single, right? Or was their an angle for me to play against this horse?

That horse had ZERO shot after the break...that killed all his chances. |

I singled him in my pick 3 also, but the onlly prob is I missed the first leg of the pick 3 so it didnt matter when it got to the finale. Seemed like the logical single though.

I watched the race from seats directly in front of where they started. This horse got left so bad and Kent D seemingly did nothing to get this horse back in the race. Thats all I will say about it.

Okay I am over it. Didnt come close to costing me as much as 2 guys whom I was with. One of my friends was holding a $60 straight pick 3 ticket coming back $90 on a $2 bet. The other a $10 pick 4 ticket.
Bishop Court Hill is scratched from the Monmouth sprint as so is Touched Madness from the turf race. I was going to take a shot with the latter at likely odds of around 10/1. Guess I have to shop elsewhere now. |
