Default Smallest Jockey

I saw this post over on PA (I'm not a member of that board but occasionally read it) and thought I'd post about it here. The original poster said the smallest jockey he ever saw was Richard Privatera and I'd have to agree with him. Priv is the exercise rider for my filly and I know him well. Here are a couple photos of Priv, let me know if you've seen a smaller jock than him:

Priv doesn't talk a lot about his riding days, he takes pride now in keeping the horses in Steve Sherman's barn fit and ready to run. Priv figured out what was wrong with my filly and taught her to pass horses... I thought she was going to finish second to last for the rest of her career - but we got 2nd yesterday! I think the light switch finally got turned on in her head!

William Klinke was pretty small. Not sure if he was smaller, but similar.

Yep, that's her - she really is a big, good looking filly but she's a basket case. She's got to be the most high strung horse in the barn, always bobbing her head around and she nips at people if she's annoyed by them.

I tried to find a photo of William Klinke but couldn't, anyone see one on the net? I was talking about the PA post with Priv yesterday, he was amazed anyone remembered him - he doesn't realize that he is unforgettable! I absolutely love the guy.

I have no idea how tall he actually is, but Eddie Perez always looks super tiny here in Chicago.

I've always wondered.

If you put a brain in a jockey, would they no longer be able to make weight?

That's invaluable - glad your filly has him!

Richard Privatera actually wanted to fight me one time while he was riding in NY. Seriously.
