Default Wayman Tisdale, just 44, gone...

Too sad.. Tisdale gone at 44 after brutal cancer battle. Saw him at Allen Field House against KU when I lived in KC. RIP. Was a big talent on a lot of fronts.

Too bad indeed. Sounds like he was one very special guy.

"Even in the most challenging of times, he had a smile for people, and he had the rare ability to make everyone around him smile. He was one of the most inspirational people I have ever known.”

Default Wayman T.

Got to meet him a couple of times while he played for the Pacers here in Indy. Just a SUPER nice guy and always had that great big smile going.

State's Tourism Commission? They can't be serious. They really think people want to vacation in that state? Wow. That's more like an exit wound.

Oklahoma is a lot of fun. Used to work occasionally in Tulsa (really fun town) and went to Remington for broadcasts and enjoyed OK City. I think you're underestimating the state's appeal.

LOL..My Mom escaped from that place a long time ago. She goes back to visit her friend. Says they use the N word constantly. Her husband raises fighting roosters. I remember watching a couple Major Golf tournaments (on T.V.) that were played in Tulsa (same course.) Way too hot. State doesn't seem like a destination (that's all.) Seems o.k. to pass through. Flat like an anorexic.
