they try to tax me on personal mileage on my company car as well-but i only use it for work....technically tho, i'm supposed to claim the to/from miles. yeah, right.
 now they want to tax my phone, and they also now want to tax our portion of health care provided by the company-you know, the plan mccain had that obama thought was a bad idea. but now, since he's assured everyone that we'll have universal health care, he has to find a way to pay for it. squeeze that lemon dry!! i read a quote, not sure who said it...something along the lines of 'the more you get from your govt, the more they can take away from you'. wonderful

and another thing about the irs....we ended up owing federal tax this year-first time in years that's happened, i still don't know why. at any rate, i made arrangements for payments. they were supposed to start coming out the end of last month-but guess what? no payment taken. so, i had tony call to find out what was up. oh, we apologize, blah blah. we'll start the end of this month. when he said that we now would have a bit more interest because it would take longer to pay it due to their delay, he was told it was all our fault anyway since we didn't pay when we were supposed to.
