no juice... and I dont think I'm just being biased because I'm a Phillies fan. Before the season started.. there was talk about why did we sign someone who is like 37 years old... and all I read was how Ibanez is known for being in great great great shape.. how we shouldnt worry about his age because of how he takes care of himself, saying he's as in good of shape as any 37 year old out there. The guy didnt all of the sudden gain 20 pounds and get a fat head or anything... he just happened to go from playing in Seattle to being behind Utley and Howard in a line-up.. He's ALWAYS been a very consistant and good hitter, now he just happens to be behind two great hitters in a line up. Another point is that he has hit the majority of his homers in hitter friendly ball parks... Citizens Bank, new Mets and new Yankee's stadiums, Great American Ballpark.. I think the easy parks are more to blame than accusing of steriods. I know all the guys who have come back positive had said they never did roids... but Ibanez took it to another level with the "test my blood, urine, hair, stool"... etc... and said he'll return every penny he's ever made if it comes back positive..

![]() This guy has been a heck of a player in KC and Seattle which are terrible lineups and terrible ballparks to pick up good numbers. Now he's in a hitters park and has protection in the lineup and is off to a great start. I think this is a case that actually seems reasonable. I certainly wouldn't be shocked if he was using something but this is a rare case that I give the player the benefit of the doubt.
