He was never going to be the next Citation, but he was fun to watch and easy to root for. Horses who do nothing but show-up and run a decent race are hard to knock.

His trainer is apparently a POLY basher. I'd bet a dollar to a doughnut that if there were POLY training tracks out there this horse might still be in training. Sounds as plausible as the theory that POLY breaks more of them down.

DIRT, not a friend to the horse.
