I'll admit to being in the dark about SC politics but Sanford sure has some guys in the same party that dont like him very much.
"We've heard it every year," said House Labor Commerce and Industry Chairman Bill Sandifer, R-Seneca. He said he told the governor, "You have gone out of your way to make enemies. You've done absolutely nothing to make friends, and now you want us all to be your friends? That's a pretty tough pill to swallow." "His love letters show he's a helluva writer," said Sen. Jake Knotts, R-West Columbia, a frequent adversary who made public that Sanford was missing. Sanford worked to get him ousted in the last election. "He's a helluva writer and a promise maker, but he doesn't keep promises to the state of South Carolina like he doesn't keep promises to his wife." |

He was just trying to achieve the ultimate; a BJ in the Oval Office, no mind who was waiting. Trying to be popular! LOL

he can't go the drug/alcohol rehab route, so there's always the prodigal son angle i suppose....
i feel bad for his wife, who had to hear her husband apologize to the mistress first at his news conference, as well as listen to the 'other woman' be referred to as her husbands soul mate. he reminds me of the unrepentant criminal who finds god the moment he gets arrested and sent to jail. he's not really sorry he did the deed, but he sure is sorry he's been caught. |

Not everyone who believes in God is a complete WHACKO, it just seems that way because they are the ones who make the news. This guy should learn to just shut the FK up.
