Default Mets for sale

Wilpon banged out by Madoff. Right now they are worth about .50 cents.

not shocking chuck, these guys kept denying that this incident wouldn't force them to sell the team, this just did not make much sense

a lot of madoff clients kept putting in more and more $$$ as uncle bernie showed steady but not too outrageous returns year in and year out, i'm sure some of the profits from flushing each year found their way over to the lipstick building in manhattan

you would think wilpon could have checked that a 1 man accounting firm was auditing the books for a billion dollar enterprise....just goes to show you that guys that got $$$ can be dumb like the rest of us

Hopefully the next owner will see fit to replace Omar before Sniper has a stroke.

perhaps Eddie Kennelly could take over for Omar since he just can't cut it in the horse business?

He is just a natural talent for the game as evidenced by his batting cage prowess

Mets fan Madoff stole from the Mets owner. I'm surprised he didn't try to steal from the players.
