Default Is it possible ....

That Paul Lo Duca knows more about horse racing than Steve Phillips does about baseball?

As impossible as this sounds .... I think it might be so.

I pay no attention to baseball .. but everytime I seem to hear Phillips say something while passing through the channels .. he seems to be proven wildly wrong right away.

His latest was that Pedro wouldn't contribute for the Phillies and he expected him to get shelled in his first game back against the Cubs. I happened to see Pedro is looking good.

Phillips said the same thing about El Duke a few years ago and was wrong.

ESPN - The Nails on a Chalkboard Channel

I was grinding my teeth last night watching the college football intro by that gay midget.

.....and thats why he doesn't have a GM job or even no longer GM of the Mets, who have someone just as incompetent as Phillips currently.

Showalter same thing.....he talks....I press mute. The same guy who mishandled Benes in Arizona's inaugural year, and didn't even pitch him in the playoffs the next year.

Steve Phillips is the Craig Faine of baseball announcers.

Even though Lo Duca has been doing a much better job than I expected .. he thought the Breeders Cup Classic was run at 12 furlongs and needing to be corrected by an analyst dumber than him.

It still is pretty sad when you get freshly retired MLB players to step in and sound as good or better than many of the other horse racing analysts.
