C-word
Does it offend you? Obviously some of you are offended by it. I had to remove my avatar because of it.
Or is it because you really aren't offended and have an agenda? At least have the courage to confront me about your beef. Why bother Steve after he's had a grueling 6 weeks of work? You people disgust me. |

If someone is going to be that sensitive - they should probably stay away from message boards!

No one should be offended by a word. You allow yourself to be offended.

I was told there are older people on this forum who are offended by the word. That's completely understandable.
Why? Because old people offend me. They have drained this country dry with their entitlement issues and, like, not dying when they should. So screw you old people. |

On the rare occasion that I use it I am hoping it is offensive. I'm personally not offended by much.

For as long as I have been alive the "C" word has had a unique effect on people but for the life of me I am at a loss to explain what it really means. Seems that D-ck should elicit the same reaction to be "gender equal".
It's alot like what George Carlin had to say about the popular phrase F-ck Y-u. We really don't seem to communicate literally. If you really wanted to hurt someone you really should say "NO F-ck Y-u" which would be far more punative. |

The word is just that, a word. Its all about how you react to it, which you have total control over. So, if someone wants to call me that, or anything else, so be it. I could care less.
I use to let little shiat like that get me all riled up, even past the point of anger. Here is the way I look at it now. If someone calls you this or that it is not necessarily a reflection of who you are but rather who they are. I thought the avatar was funny A sense of humor is a blessing, especially at ourself. |
