Thumbs up Flash Foward

Just got done watching the primere of Flash Foward on ABC. It's a detective/mystery/action show. It was pretty good and looks like it should get better every week. There's an encore tomorrow night at 8 on ABC, check it out I think it might turn out to be one of the better ones this fall.

The first thing that caught my attention was this series was co created by David Goyer. I haven't always enjoyed his work, until his great writing on the last 2 Batman films. The premise of the show intrigued me, the entired world blacks out for 2 minutes and change, and has flashes of the future. The first show delivered on the promising idea, the chase sequence that proceeds the blackout was really well done. The overrall sense of mystery as to how and why the events builds up through the show, with another mystery popping up at the end that has my wife and I wanting to see where this story is going next. The show is it's cast is off to a great start, I'll be interested to see the ratings, in particular after next weeks 2 installment. I suspect the interesting premise of the show with produce pretty good first week numbers, but let's see how many viewers will stick around in week 2. From what I can see, the viewers who do continue to tune in, could be in treated to an interesting ride. I agree with Math, if you missed it, check out the replay tomorrow evening. Would be interested to read more reaction to this very promising new series.

OMG, you did something for an hour straight, that didn't involve betting/watching/handicapping horses or football.
This really might be the first sign of the apocalypse.

I read the book like ten years ago. Decent scifi, but haven't gotten around to watching this yet.
