Default Gander/The Troy

As good as Weigelia looks on paper, I think he is gonna have some company on the front end. YES YES YES shows :21 and :44 speed all over the place and BINGOBEAR shows tons of early speed too.

I think the 3 of them burn each other up and set it up for 2 horses....either Second in Command or Pisgah.

Personally, I like Pishgah, but its awfully hard to ignore Second In Command with 45% first off the claim for Dutrow screaming at you.

Both should be decent prices as well.

*this post comes with the warning that turf sprints are not my strongest races.

Pisgah is a really hard guy to figure. He has a habit of missing the break but when he does break well, doesnt he have early speed, or at least use to?
At a square price I'd bet him over Second in Command.

Draw a line through Pisgah's last and he is easily top 1 or 2 in the race. That was a quirky race at Penn his last out.

Good call Kev, not sure where my post from last night on Gander's thread in regards to the Troy S went, but I told him last night as well to bet Second in Command, race set up so well for him plus Dutrow can move way up off of Rice

had $25 on the nose and singled in the the pick 4 (played a $8 ticket (1,2/5,9/3/7,8), staring down a nice payout if the 7 or 8 wins here. and you?

Tizlater falls at the top of the stretch. slid sideways as thought the turf gave out from under her.
