What a complete and utter bum.

How can the lone Euro in the Goodwood not blow the field away?

I realize he's a no name in Europe ... and has never won a Group stakes .... bum cmon!! Isn't a goat that comes over from Europe supposed to laugh at our Gr 1 synthetic horses? That wasn't a blowout - that was workmanlike.

Weak.

I take it you played Colonel John? This horse was on par with a mid level mid Atlantic allowance horse in Europe. When their good horses arrive we are cooked.

I'd bet a maiden 2yo filly from Europe if they entered her in the Classic.

Didn't Fallon mention that the horse broke the track record over there? (Either last out or the other poly race.) He must be a real plug, then.

He was supposed to be a decent threat in the Belmont but was injured...

The Belmont isn't run on a simulated turf course.

Look at his BC Juvy race and today's race. Do you think he likes the Santa Anita surface?

I'm not making excuses for the horse, but I expected exactly what we got out of him today.

I would have been as shocked as I was when he won the Derby, had he won today.

That said, I didn't play the race, so I should just shut up about it.

I didn't play the race either, but I agree and if he does go in the classic my money won't be anywhere near him.

I didn't bet the race. I don't bet many out there... I was considering betting the Euro for a little, but he was getting played.

Jerry Bailey mentioned on ESPN that Sea of Stars is 10 lengths better than him. I hope Sea of Star's connections watched the Goodwood.

Gosh, if Zenyatta doesn't go in the Classic, what American horse would stand a chance (I don't think Einstein is good enough and Summer Bird has no synthetic form).
