Mate, this is a dead set machine

Liam Birchley had him up your way, and wanted to qualify him for the Magic Millions race in January at the Gold Coast (also Magic Millions themselves wanted to promote their ready to run sale with a big horse) so a combination of the two made Birchley put him through the sale (hence why he was scratched previously). He didn't want to lose the colt, so put a reserve of $350,000, thinking nobody would top that....... next thing, Peter Morgan sees the colt, watched him work and thought WOW, and paid $360,000 for him.

Birchley is gutted he lost him because it was his best 2yo by a distance
