This should be required viewing for all Americans. I have been honored to have worked with several WWII vets. My girlfriends Dad was in the SeaBees in the Pacific. I went to my Uncles funeral last fall and I didn't even know he was there until I saw the Marines lined up. They said he was involved in 5 invasions in the Pacific on a Destroyer Escort, no wonder he didn't talk about it. What a somber experience. One of my first bosses as a 17 yr old grocery clerk was a medic on D-Day Normandy. Freedom isn't free. My undying respect and gratitude to all service members past, present, and future.

all the narrators have been good but, the Jewish immigrant, that escaped the nazi, i've been most impressed with. he came to this country, tried to explain to people what was happening in europe, then joins the army on dec. 7 1941, sent to the pacific and wasn't even an American citizen yet!
