![]() This team is soft and can't run consistently. They deserve all the credit in the world for being 10-0 and winning the way they have. To me, this is Manning's finest season. To be doing what he is doing with THIS team is extemely impressive.
This team will not win the super bowl but still an impressive season. |

I agree with your assessment that this is one of the best jobs Manning has ever done. They need to mix Donald Brown in more as Addai has become more dancer than runner. I would be nervous about the Colts in a game in January against either New England again or a dangerous physical team like Pittsburgh or their nemesis San Diego. NT |

They seem to me to be a team that could easily be 6-4. Bounces have gone their way and they have taken advantage. I just can't see them getting through the playoffs against the likes of cincy, pittsburgh or NE again. I have serious doubts about both undefeated teams. |

Not saying the Colts will win it all, but good teams seem to get those bounces that go their way. Home field advantage could play a big part, too. |

![]() I too am a diehard fan since their days in Baltimore. My Dad was the biggest Johnny U fan ever. He would have loved Peyton had he lived to see him play. I think the SB win was most touching for me because I knew it was something he had be looking forward to since the day they came to Indy.
I wasn't getting to excited either becasue of the running game, but now I am. We win games that we wouldn't have won in years past. Baltimore is supposed to be physical...we went toe to toe with them and won. Stopped them on the goal line 3 times. The defense is number one in point allowed and doesn't just play cover 2 anymore. The running game will get better as they start to use Donald Brown more in the latter part of the season. Right now, the thing I worry the most about is getting out to the big lead and "resting" guys at the end. Seems like we lose our edge when we do that but maybe Caldwell will handle it better. It's gonna come down to us and NE again. But at least it will be here and it will be a great game! Homefield thru the playoffs means no cold weather games and thats a big advantage.

if i were the colts i would much rather see the pats or cinncy in an afc championship game then the bolts as for the w/c teams , i don't think the colts want to see the dolphins again root for the texans , and jags to get the wildcards and win in rd1- thoses are teams that probably don't believe they could win a playoff game in Indy in round 2 |

![]() Their schedule isn't that easy.
The last three are Green Bay, Baltimore, @Miami. The could lose 3 out of their last six...hell lose two more and they could be done. |

Baltimore's two games against Pittsburgh are going to be huge, especially if Roethlisberger has some issues (I fully expect he'll play this week) because Batch is now hurt as well. NT |

I saw this stat last night. Colts are first team to win four straight games after trailing in 4th quarter of each contest. When that stat turns (and it will), loss (or losses) will occur. But what do I know, I'm a Cowboys fan who lives in Who Dat Nation (aka Louisiana)!

![]() The Colts are my second favorite team (that's good for me cause the Skins are #1 and they are....well, terrible). Manning's performance speaks for itself, as long as they don't have to play outside in the playoffs in some place like New England, they should go to the Super Bowl. Pittsburgh is disappointing, NE struggles on defense, Cinncinnati is a nice story but were exposed a bit this week, San Diego could threaten if LT continues to play like...LT. Should come down to them vs the winner of the NFC title game (Minnesota/New Orleans). If Favre's health holds up...I'll go with the Vikings!

![]() I thought we might be better without Harrison and people looked at me like I was nuts
![]() ![]() I also know that what happens now matters as it sets you up for what I call the second season, the playoffs. Lets stay healthy, keep that pass rush humpin and let 18 and the gang do their thing. How about the job the Colts organization does year in and out in the Draft! |
